The Eight Cylinder Solar Engine is four Solar Twin engines in one with an offset of 90° between cylinders. With the flywheel turning, the displacer pistons make a wave-like motion, which fascinates most everybody watching the engine in motion.

To our knowledge this is the only engine of this kind.

The flywheel is powered by eight double acting power cylinders.
